What's Next?

The first thing you can do with your school's new system is to plug a computer with a modem into one of the jacks you just installed, plug a phone cord from one of the patch panel ports into a phone jack and log onto the Internet. (You can plug a phone jack into the middle four pins of an RJ45 jack.)

Next, take advantage of the relationships your community developed for NetDay - between the school and businesses, between parents and teachers. Continue working together to create a comprehensive technology plan for your school, decide what hardware to get funding for, discuss ways to help teachers work new technology into their curricula.
