    Alan Arkatov And Linda Roberts Join Netday Board 
    Two internationally recognized education technology leaders will serve
    on the NetDay Board 
    
 Irvine, CA -- Alan Arkatov, President of the eEducation Group,
      and Linda G. Roberts, former Director, Office of Education Technology,
      US Department of Education, have been named to the NetDay Board of Directors.
      They will join with the other Board members in providing advice and oversight
      for the current and future directions of the organization.

      knowledge of the issues and broad range of experience in the public and

 As President of the eEducation Group, Alan Arkatov is working to maximize
      the e-learning opportunities for educational institutions. He also serves
      as the Chairman of the California Postsecondary Education Commission. Previously,
      he was the Founder and Chairman of OnlineLearning.net, a leading continuing
      education distance learning company. Alan served on the Congressional Web
      Education Commission, which released its report, The Power of the Internet
      for Learning, in December 2000.
    
 Linda G. Roberts directed the U.S. Department of Education's Office of
      Educational Technology from September 1993 to January 2001, and served
      as the Secretary of Education's Special Adviser on Technology. Roberts
      developed the first National Technology Plan, launched new technology programs,
      and increased the technology budget significantly. Prior to joining the
      Department, Roberts was project director and senior associate with the
      Congressional Office of Technology Assessment (OTA). Widely recognized
      by the professional community as a leading expert in the application of
      technology to improve and reform education, she is now a consultant to
      the educational technology industry and on the Board of Directors for Classroom
      Connect and Wireless Generation, and a Board Trustee for the Sesame Workshop.
